Tactics Ogre (PSX)

Effortless Level Up:
This trick helps you level up your characters without doing anything.
Just go into training mode at any board. Set your parties and when it
asks you who is going to control who on the screen, just set the computer for
both of them. Now sit back and enjoy the show.


Holy Angel Class:
To get a Holy Angel, Level up a healer (priest or Cleric) to aroud level 30,
If you have used her well in battle in healing and training, when she dies she
will automatically resurrect herself into an Angel. Her desciption is as follows,
Only a female with a good soul and warrior training can ressurect into this angel.
same as an Exorcist, she can use Holy attack magic and uses angel language.


Lich Class:
In order to get a Lich (a Lich is a magicain that can use undead magic, such as Necro)
equip a Wizard with the Undead Ring. Go into battle with it equipped.
Have him get killed by an enemy. Right after he dies, a little symbol should show up
where he just got killed. Then he ressurects into a Lich.


Pumpkin Class:
First, get a glass pumpkin from a random floor in the Hell Gate by deafeting and enemy.

Second, Go to Deneb's (which means you can't have her in your party) and go to the
recruit option you can recruit the amount of pumkinheads according to how many glass pumkins in your inventory.



Training Tip:
After acquiring the four pieces of warrior equipment in Death Palace, go into training.
For each level you gain your luck will increase according to how many pieces you have on.

After gaining a few levels this way, the enemy will have a low chance of hitting you and
you will critical hit almost every attack.


Get Byan easily:
In the chaotic version of the game (where you don't endorse the baramus
massacre) you will save a Knight named Forcas. The next stage, a wizard will
be there as a guest. Just take a healer using the level up trick, and your
heal spells will reach him. Or you could beat on him a little and he'll come
toward you. Either way, he is worth saving until you get high powered
sirens. He uses acid and meteor, so he does a LOT of damage, especially when
you get gnome.


Get Lans and his buddies as secret characters:
In the battle with Bishop Branta, kill all of his men (make sure his undead
are all dead and won't ressurect yet) and Lans and his buddies will come out
and kill Branta for you. The old geezer will be killed by Barbas and Martym.
Lans will ask you if you are going after them, answer "yes" and he will
gladly join you.


Taking Advantage of 'Luck Cards':
Luck cards tend to increase and decrease your characters luck. They also
determine the chances of a critical hit. So to use these cards to your
advantage, right before you pick the card up, save the game. Now pick the
card up. If the card decreases your luck, just load the data and pick the
card up again. Eventually you will get a 'luck up' card.



Ultimate Warriors and Weapons:First, you need to have the spells "Necro" and "retissue." Then, raise a
character to whatever level you want. Let him/her be killed in battle. Use
"Necro" to bring the person back as a skeleton or ghost. Then use retissue
to make them a level 1 soldier/amazon with all of the abilities before death
except for half life and magic points. Keep doing this until the person has
999 for all abilities, then either keep him as a STRONG character, or use
"SnapShot" to make a weapon with a strength of 500, and really high
everything else!
