Dragon Mines: Shortcut
About a quarter of the way through the race is a railroad track with coal cars on it that go to the right. Follow the coal cars into the tunnel in the side of the wall, then follow the railroad track until it appears at the middle section of the track. You will get run over by the coal cars, but you will still end up ahead.

Before the end of the lap is a blue brick road and sand. Instead of going through the sand, cut through the blue brick road with a mask and go to the finish line.

Cortex Castle: Shortcut
While racing on Cortex Castle, shortly after the two spiders and past the flight of stairs, you will see a path that goes up into the castle. Go to the far right side and drive diagonally left, up the hill. When you get to the very peak of the hill, jump and you should land on a path that is cut off from the main raceway. This trick is hard to do but is extremely effective.

Crash Cove: Shortcut
Near the beginning of the track is a ramp with two fruit boxes at the end of it, just before a small lake. Stay to the right of the ramp and begin turning left toward the mountain once you pass the ramp. You will be driving through the lake. You will have to practice this, but it dips right before you would run into the mountain. As your head goes completely underwater, hold Jump. You will jump onto the shortcut and can pick up a box before jumping back down and rejoining the race near the bridge. You can begin your turn when you pass the single star on the ground just to the right of the ramp. You will be jumping onto the land that is connected to the bridge that you drive under which leads out to that boat to your right.

Turn left immediately after the first jump when you land in the water. Jump at the very left edge of this pond. You will land on a ledge which allows you to gain a second or two of time. This is very difficult to perform, and requires practice to get the correct. It is the only way to get the "T" on the Crash Cove CTR Challenge.

Blizzard Bluff: Shortcut
Immediately past the start/finish line is a channel through the rocks that allows you to cut across and miss the first left hand turn. A mask obviously makes this faster, so the snow will not slow you down.

At the first frozen lake, power slide left and jump over ravine. You will land just past tunnel bridge. A mask helps here, but is not necessary.

After making the right hand turn after the tunnel bridge, look on your left. There is a channel through the rocks that cuts across the left hand curve. With a mask, you can hit the hill on the right side of the passage and jump the guardrail to cut across.

Final race against Oxide
Before you have to race against Oxide again you have to get all the time relics, luckily you don't have to get all of them as sapphire or gold or platinum. Anyways Oxide's race stratedgy will be the same so you can intercept it.

Infinite Masks
To get infinite masks, hold L1 + R1 at the main menu and press left, triangle, right, left, circle, right, down, down. If done correctly, you will hear a sound. As far as I know, this code does not work in adventure mode.

Infinite Wumpa Fruit
Hold L1 + R1 at the main menu and press down, right, right, down, down. You should then hear a sound confirming correct entry.

Papu Papu
At the title screen, hold L1+R1 then press Left, Triangle, Right, Down, Right, Circle, Left, Left, Down. You should hear a sound and be able to drive as Papu Papu.

Komodo Joe
At the title screen, hold L1+R1 then press Down, Circle, Left, Left, Triangle, Right, Down. You should hear a sound and can drive as Komodo Joe.

Pinstripe
At the title screen, hold L1+R1 then press Left, Right, Triangle, Down, Right, Down.

Get Bonus Tracks Easier
At the title screen ( where you choose adventure, arcade, VS etc. ) hold L1 + R1 and press, right, right, left, triangle, right, down, down. You will hear a sound. This unlocks three battle arenas and one race track.

Quick Draw
When you run into a question mark box, press the "O" button and your weapon will appear faster. You have to wait a little bit (about a second) to press the button. This code helps a lot in battle mode and could give you an edge.

Get Unlimited Bombs and Rockets etc.
First you need to get unlimited bombs by going to the main title screen and holding R1+L1, then press triangle, forward, down, forward, up, triangle, back. Then during a race, you will need to run over a red potion bottle, then you will lose your unlimited bombs. Next you will have to drive into a question mark box and whatever you get will be unlimited for that race.

N. Tropy
At the title screen, hold L1 and R1. Press down, left, right, up, down, right, right. You should hear a sound, and now you may drive as N. Tropy.

Get TNTs Off Your Head
When a TNT lands on your head press R1 repeatedly. If done correctly, the TNT will fall off in time. If you wait too long you will wipe out.

Climb up ramp walls
In that battle arena press R1 on a ramp wall then you'll be able to jump up a ramp instead of going up the ramp.

Scrapbook
At the title screen, hold L1 + R1 and press up(2x), down, right(2x), left, right, triangle, right. The "Scrapbook" is now an option at the main menu.

Invisibility
At the title screen hold L1 + R1 and press up(2x), down, right(2x), up. All non-computer characters are now invisible.

Penta Penguin
At the Main Menu, hold L1 + R1 and press Down, Right, Triangle, Down, Left, Triangle, Up. If done correctly, you will hear a sound.

Race as Ripper Roo
Hold down the L1 and R1 buttons at the title screen, then press Right, Circle, Circle, Down, Up, Down, Right.

CTR Token
In Adventure, when you are playing Crash Cove, go off of the ramp and push jump to turbo. Go through the water and it will bounce you up. Push jump again and make a right onto the bridge once you make it up, and you will get the letter. Don't go on that ship because it is a dead end.

Access Nitros Oxide’s Space Ship
To unlock the Nitros’ spacecraft, you must possess four Boss Keys

Get scrapbook
If you beat N. Oxide's top scores in time trial you unlock scrapbook at the main menu.

New Battle Arenas
Use the arcade 1 player mode to finish the easy, medium and hard difficulty to get up to 4 new arenas.

Get Spyro the Dragon 2 Demo
At the main or new game screen hold L1 + R1 and press Down, Circle, Triangle, Right

Get N Trophy
Finish the Roos Tubes level using time trial mode
