Pokemon Stadium 2 cheats:

Shining Pok'emon Preview
If you have a Shining Ditto, you can use Transform and the Ditto will have the colours of the shining form of its opponent.

Battle Red
After defeating the Kanto Gym Leaders and the Elite Four, you will be able to face Red.

Fight The Elite four
Beat all the gym leaders and you will be able to fight the Elite four.

Fight Your Rival
Once you beat all of the Cups in Stadium Mode and all of the trainers in Gym Leader Castle, you will unlock a special Rival Cup in the lower right corner of the main map. Click on it to take your team against the mega-tough trio of Mewtwo, Ho-oh and Lugia.

Better pokemon then rentals
Train your own pokemon from Gold,Silver, or Crystal and use them instead of the rentals.

Infinite Mystery Gifts
This trick requires a Transfer Pak and Pokémon Gold or Silver. Make sure your Pokémon Gold or Silver game is saved at a Pokémon Center. Go to the Mystery Gift option. Use Mystery Gift. Go to GB Tower. Use the "Change time" trick and use your password to change the time in Pokémon Gold or Silver. Change the time one day forward. Go back to Mystery Gift on Pokémon Stadium 2 and use it. Repeat this until you get the items you want.

Game appearances on television
In "My Room", when you have the video game consoles (NES, SNES, and Nintendo 64) to decorate your room, they will also decorate the television. For example, when you use the NES, games such as The Legend Of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Kirby, and Super Mario Bros. will appear on the television screen. For the SNES, games such as The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past, F-Zero, Kirby Super Star, and Super Mario World. For the Nintendo 64, games such as The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time, Wave Race 64, Super Mario 64, and Star Fox 64. There are no decorations for the Virtual Boy.

More Pokemon in Mini-Games
If you have a transfer pak, then this is a great cheat. Put in any pokemon game and follow instructions below.

If you have a Girafarig, go to mini-games. Play Furret's Frolic. You can play as your Girafarig.

If you have an Omanyte, it can replace Togepi in Tumbling Togepi.

If you have Pokemon Yellow, You can be you Pikachu in Pichu's Powerplant.

Hint: Don't evolve the pokemon! You cant use it in your mini-games! There may be more, but you'll have to find them out! Good luck!

Move rememberer
Defeat the Elite Four in the Johto Gym Leader Castle. You have to win the Castle with a team of your own, with no rentals or registered Pokemon. When you win you will be able to teach one Pokemon on your team a past move that they forgot or never learned. That is how you can get Pokemon such as Mewtwo to learn Confusion, or Zapdos to learn Peck. You can do this as many times as needed.

Better Mystery Gifts
Do the Mystery Gift option at about the same time each day. For example, do it at 10:30 a.m. every day. You are more likely to receive items such as the Scope Lens and items for your room.

Unlimited Mystery Gifts
Note: This trick requires a Transfer Pak and Pokemon Gold or Silver. Make sure your Pokemon Gold or Silver game is saved at a Pokemon Center. Go to the Mystery Gift option. Use Mystery Gift. Go to Game Boy Tower. Use the "Set time" trick and use your password to change the time in Pokemon Gold or Silver. Change the time one day forward. Go back to Mystery Gift on Pokemon Stadium 2 and use it. Repeat this until you get the items you want.

Light Ball
The Light Ball doubles Pikachu's Special Attack. You can get this by removing the items from Pikachu from Pokemon Yellow.

Hint: Togepi
Go to the Gym Leader Castle and go directly to the Elite Four. After you defeat Lance and can fight your rival, press B to leave the Gym Leader Castle. Go to the Prime Cup and win in Master Ball. Go back to the Gym Leader Castle and defeat your rival. You will now be able to use Togepi as a rental Pokemon.

Alternate Pokemon colors
Name your Pokemon with reversed name or one that includes part of their original name. For example, Two-mew for Mewtwo or Buzzy for Electabuzz. They will have a different tint or color.

Use Lugia, Mewtwo and Ho-Oh:
If you use a tranfser pak you may can use LUGIA,MEWTWO and HO-OH in battle you CAN'T choose them on another thing.

Hints:
On "Changelle Cup" you should NOT choose a Pokémon Team you must take one of the team as has been created.
On "Little Cup" You should need Pokémon at Level:5 take like a Steelix,Scizor.
On "Poke Cup" Pokémon at Level:50-55 has right to fight. It's better to take a Pokémon from your Transfer Pak.
On "Prime Cup" the final Cup Pokémon at Level:1-100 has right to fight take transfer a Lugia,Ho-oh and Mewtwo into the battle!
