Ridge Racer Revolution cheats:


Drive through cars

Go backwards around any track and aim at another car. You will drive through the other cars.


Scene menu

Get a score of 0 in Galaga '88 by allowing all forty aliens to pass by. The phrase "Secret Bonus" will appear. Appearance options such as "Normal", "Noon", "Evening" and "Night" may now be selected from a "Scene" menu.

Extra view:

While in the behind-the car perspective, press Start to pause
the game. Now, press and hold Triangle, then press L1 or R1
to zoom in or out.


Super deformed cars (add 8 new cars to lineup):

Press and Hold Triangle, L1
R1, Down, and Select, while on the Galaga SHooter screen. A
super-laser will obliterate the enemy ships and give you a
perfect score. Now when you start the race, the cars have
small bodies and huge wheels. Super deformed cars also alter
their handling. For instance, a super deformed car will not
fly through the air over jumps or hills.


Remove rear view mirror:

Press Start to pause the game. Then press and
hold Triangle and tap L1. To reinstate rear-view mirror,
press and hold Triangle and tap R1.


Zoom view:

In external view, pause and hold down triangle and press L1 or
R1 to zoom in and out. Press both together to reset.


Mirror mode:

By coming in first place in all three tracks you will gain the
ability to race each track in reverse mode. To race in
reverse mode, start a race normally, then drive a short
distance from the starting grid and turn around. Now, with
the solid wall in front of you, accelerate to 60 mph and when
your car hits the wall it will break through and you will be
racing the track in reverse mode.


8 more cars:

To access 8 additional cars, you must destroy all the aliens
in the Galaga '88 game that appears during loading.


Time of day for race:

Let all the aliens pass by and get a score of 0 on
the Galaga '88 game. A single firework will go off and the
words "Secret Bonus" will flash on screen. Go to the "Other"
screen and you can now set the time of race to Normal,
Morning, Evening, and Night.


Light tricks:

Holding down R1 and L1 at the Main Title screen enables the
ability to control the spotlight. Use the directional keys
and other buttons to alter the settings. L1 and R1 must be
held down at all times.


360-Degree spinning:

Highlight the "Select" option on the Pre-race screen.
Hold down Square + X and select your track, car, transmission,
etc. using the Start button. After making your selections,
highlight the "Start" option on the Pre-Race screen while
still holding Square + X and Select, then press the Start
button to begin the race. Keep holding everything until the
race is about to begin. You will be asked by the computer to
try 360-degree spins during the race. Your spinning skills
will be rated each time on a scale from 0 to 100.
