Megaman Legends (PSX)
Megaman Legends cheats:
Note! This title is also known as Rockman Dash
Bad Boy:
When you finish beating the big robot in the Old City go to the airship
and press CIRCLE on the Television. go to downtown and blow up the red car.
pick up the suitcase and go out the door. It will ask you if you want to steal
the money. say Yes and you will get 200,000 instead of 20,000.
Change Color:
To change color to dark navy/black you must be a bad boy! Start by
kicking all vending machines (many times), kicking animals, kicking the can
in Apple Market into the bakery for 1,000 Zenny, not repairing damaged buildings
in the City Hall battle, let the bombs explode in the "Bombs in the City" subquest,
and by shooting the police car and keeping the "trunk of cash" in the sub-quest
when the Pirates rob the bank (you get the bank robbery sub-quest by watching TV
in the Flutter after defeating Bruno, the Pirates last robot).
When you finally change color (it doesn't take to long) it looks really cool!!!
Easy Money:
Certain sections of the game contain enemies who drop expensive refracters.
By leaving the area and then coming back, you can kill the same enemy over and
over to build up your cash supply.
There's another way, too. You can earn a quick 1,000 Zinny by kicking the
soda can behind the counter of the Bakery Shop. As the game progresses the
amount you receive for your efforts goes up. This is a great trick if your low on cash.
For more money, find the can in the apple market. If you can kick it into
the Jetlag Bakery you'll receiev 10,000 zenny!
Free Energy in Town:
Walk up to any vending machine and press CIRCLE. When it asks you to
deposit 100z, say "No" and kick it. You'll receive a free drink and refill your life.
NOTE: This can only be done once on each vending machine.
Hidden Difficulty Menu and Replay Bonuses:
If you win Legends, don't reset the game or turn it off.
The game will start over again with one minor difference:
a fourth item on the main menu will be there, the difficulty setting.
I think the setting reffers mainly to the power gauges of the bosses
(Boss Bruno's bar is the length of the screen in hard mode!),
but there might be other things, too.
When starting a new game right after winning, you are given bonuses
according to your difficulty setting and the time you took to win.
If you win hard mode and then start a new game, you'll start with the Buster Max,
which maxes out EVERY buster stat! Beating the game with a good time
will start you off with the dash parts, which will make the game go quicker than before!
Item Combinations:
These are the different item combinations you can use to make new
Special Weapons, Buster Parts, or Body Parts.
Rolling invincibility:
Hold L1 or R1 and jump to roll to either side. Megaman will be momentarily
invincible during this time.
Hospital Girl:
Ira is a little girl in a wheel chair you'll meet in the hospital.
Talk to her and her nurses to find out that the hospital needs money
for technology for her treatmant. Give the money to the Mayor.
The total will be 15,000 Zinny. Ira will then give you the Flower Pearl item.
Unlimited money (method 1):
Play the beast hunter game at the studio and get 4000 gold for completing grade A.
Repeat this as needed to earn as much money as possible.
Unlimited money (method 2):
Locate the garbage can and pop can on the ground near the Jetlad Bakery on the Shopping Street.
Kick the can into the bakery and speak to the woman inside to receive $1,000.
This may be repeated to collect an unlimited amount of money.
Control camera:
At various times during the briefing sequences, "Camera Change" and "Camera Free" will be displayed.
Press Square or Triangle to change the zoom. Press Circle to change views. Press X to stop the scene.
Checking trash cans for items:
Check trash cans for items by kicking them. The lid will fly up if there is nothing inside.
The can will just wobble if there is Zenny or a item inside.
Free pop:
Locate the area with all the tanklike bots in Clover Woods very early in the game.
Go around the smoking police car to see a shack up on a hill. Move closer and you will
see a pop machine next to it. Go around the hill and jump up on to one of the tall platforms
to reach the pop machines by a series of jumps. To get the free pop, simply talk to the machine,
say "No", then kick it. It will either give you a pop or explode. If it explodes,
enter the house to find the Junk Store Manager and his wife. You can buy items, and sometimes
parts, from them. If the pop machine exploded, after exiting the building, go talk to it again,
say "No" and kick it. Repeat this until getting a free pop.
Bad deeds:
When you first enter the city at the beginning of the game, do no good deeds unless it is
required for progression of the game. Do bad deeds, such as kicking the can at the entrance
into the Jetlag Baker to get 1,000 zenny, and kicking drink machines. Eventually Megaman will
turn dark blue, and his kicks as well as his other attacks will become stronger. If you keep
doing bad deeds, he will turn black. Note: If you do any good deed after turning darker,
Megaman will turn back to normal and this will have to be repeated.
Hard Mode:
After completing the game, a new "Hard" option will appear on
the title screen (IF you don't shut the power off after the credits). The
following things are different in Hard mode:
Most enemies are twice as durable as before. Some others are more
aggressive; i.e., the four-legged tanks in the Sub-Cities don't "flinch"
when receiving damage.
In the fight against the Bonne's Navy and the Gesselschaft airship, their
weapons inflict more damage upon your ship.
Some bosses (i.e., Bruno and Mega Man Juno) have twice as much health as
in Normal mode.
Mega Man Juno's final "desperation attack" sends two shockwaves rippling
across the arena instead of one (much harder to jump over this way)
Misc hints:
After saving City Hall, search the trashcans in Downtown for some
"Blumebear parts". Roll can transform these into a "Machine Buster" special
weapon. Spend the time (and money) to fully enhance the Machine Buster
before heading towards Clozer woods and fighting T. Bonne; by firing the
Machine Buster into the Marlwolf's open hatch, you can destroy it much more
quickly than with your Buster gun.
When the Gesselschaft airship attacks the Flutter, you can obliterate its
entire fleet of Drache ships with a fully-enhanced Machine Buster at the
start of the battle, allowing you to attack the Gesselschaft itself with no
damage.
If you have the Drill Arm equipped, you can level the Old City's
buildings, lampposts, and fences yourself during the fight with Bruno.
Also, some buildings, even when demolished, can provide cover from Bruno's
green homing energy blasts (the entrance to the Sub City and labyrinth will
provide cover as well). You can also dodge the green energy blasts at short
range by circling around Bruno when he fires them.
The Machine Buster and Grenade Arm special weapons are the only Special
Weapons Mega Man can use while running or jumping. All other Special
Weapons, Mega Man must stand still in order to fire.
The Grenade Arm may have short range, but because the grenades bounce, you
can aim up using the R2 key and make very long-range attacks
The Vaccuum Arm, Drill Arm, Active Buster, and Shining Laser can have
their energy raised to "infinity", giving Mega Man unlimited ammunition
and/or use time. But to do so for the Active Buster and Shining Laser,
you'll need a lot (about 1 million!) Zenny.
Defeating the Reaverbots:
The short, brown, crab-like Reaverbots (found in the labyrinth, Lake Jyun,
and Main Gate) are invulnerable while on their feet. To damage them, you
must first flip them onto their backside. One single slice from the Blade
Arm will flip these Reaverbots upside-down, allowing you to finish them off
at your leisure with your Buster Gun
100 Zenny:
In the apple market, kick the can into the bigger bread store to get a 100 Zenny
Become Dark Megaman:
To become Dark Megaman all you have to do is kick all the vending machines
you see until they blow up and/or kick the can into the Jetlag Bakery at the
Apple Market. After a while, Megaman will start to turn darker, but it takes
awhile and requires great patience.
OR
When you get the running shoes (Skateboard+Hover Jets) watch the TV in the
Flutter. There will be a robbery go Downtown and shoot the red car the police
are chasing until it blows up. Pick up the briefcase and go to the nearest
gate. When you get there attempt to leave. You will be asked if you want to
keep the money. Say YES when you do you'll immeditly turn Black. Soon it'll
wear off when this happens kick a vending machine until it blows up.(Not just
till it smokes)
Cats-o-Plenty:
If you press CIRCLE on the cat in front of the main gate, the game will ask
if you want to take it back to Flutter. If you say yes, every time you enter
Flutter there will be more and more cats. I currently have about twelve.
Special Weapons:
Powered Buster: Cannon Kit
Grenade Arm: Grenade Kit
Grand Grenade: Bomb Schematic

Armor (Better defense): Buy at Junk Shop
Jet Skates (Move faster): Rollerboard + Old Hoverjets

Sub-Quests
Museum Fun:
This will take you some time to accomplish.
First, talk to the Painter in the UpTown.
Tell her that her painting needs color.
Ask the clerk in the clothesstore for her lipstick.
Give it to the Painter. This will reveal that she works in the museum.
Now you can enter the building. On the second floor,
you can place interesting items that you find in the ruins.
After you have placed the seven required items, a girl in a green
dress will come along and offer to give you the Prizm Crystal.
Required items are:
1. Bone
2. Doll
3. Bone
4. Crystal Fossil
5. Reaverbot Eye
6. Antique Bell
7. Giant Horn
Once you have collected these seven items, a girl wearing a
green dress will appear. Talk to her to get the prizm crystal.
