Pokemon Gold (GBC)
Pokemon Gold cheats:
Shining Ditto1. Erase all of the moves except for Leer from your Shining Gyarados.
2. Now trade it to a Blue/Red or Yellow Version.
3. Now teach it Mimic.
4. Make sure you have either Ultra Balls or a master ball.
5. Now find a wild Ditto.
6. Use Mimic and learn Transform.
7. Let it transform into you and then catch it.
8. Now trade it back and you now have a Shining Ditto.
Breeding Tip
When you breed two pokemon its important to know what will the egg hatch into.
For example:
Natu(Female) Attacks: peck,teleport,nightshade
Doduo(male) Attacks: drillpeck,fly,peck,growl
The female pokemon will be the pokemon that hatches from the future egg(unless its ditto, it can be male or female)The male can pass along moves like in this case, the Male Doduo will pass along its drill peck move to the baby natu. The moves that the male has will not always pass to the baby.
Special Pokeballs
You can give Apricorns to the Poke Ball maker in Azalea Town to get new types of Poke Balls. Here is a list of what they're good for.
White Apricorn: Fast Ball -- Good for catching Pokemon that try to escape from battle quickly.
Red Apricorn: Level Ball -- If your Pokemon's level is significantly higher than the wild Pokemon's, it will be an easy catch.
Blue Apricorn: Lure Ball -- Good for catching Water types when fishing.
Pink Apricorn: Love Ball -- If the wild Pokemon's gender is opposite that of your Pokemon's you'll have an easier catch.
Black Apricorn: Heavy Ball -- Big enough to catch heavy Pokemon like Snorlax.
Green Apricorn: Friend Ball -- Pokemon caught with Friend Balls will become very attached to their trainer. Good for Chansey (if you want it to evolve into Blissey).
Yellow Apricorn:Moon Ball -- Good for catching Pokemon that evolve with Moon Stones, like Clefairy and Jigglypuff.
Special Trainers
There are six extremely helpful Pokemon trainers in Gold/Silver whose telephone numbers you should definitely keep in your Pokegear. These six will randomly give you tips on how to find rare Pokemon and steer you towards areas where certain Pokemon are currently "swarming."

You can obtain the Twistedspoon item from Kadabras that were caught in Yellow Version.
Smoochum
You can obtain Smoochum by breeding a Jynx with a Ditto or other Pok'emon in its egg group (eg. Mr. Mime).
Get Lapras
To get a lapras simply on a wednesday go in to the cave in Alazea Town climb up a ladder (not sure which one) and surf across a lake then cimb down a ladder. try and get to the deep part of the cave. If you are on the right track you should come bump into lots of trainers (cool trainers). At the end you should see a lake surf across it and there sould(if you have done it right) see a lapras. Challenge it, it should be level twenty, then all you have to do is capture it( I recomend ultra balls to capture it).Then you have a lapras.
Silver: The second metal coat
In the kanto region,( after fighting all the 8 gym leaders in Jotho) in the power plant, go inside, talk to a man that asks you to trade his magneton for your dugtrio. The fastest way to get dugtrio is to catch a diglett in the digett's cave. Then train that digett till level 26 ( best way: fight elite four, as your diglett is from level 2-8) Then go back to the power plant, and trade with that man.If you look in the stats of that magneton, the item, it is holding a metal coat( maybe it depends, I am not sure, but I got it)

In Cerulean Cape, bills dad will ask you to show him a pokemon. He will give you an element stone. You show him in this order:
1 lickitung - everstone
2 oddish - leaf stone
3 staryu - water stone
4 vulpix - fire stone
5 pichu - thunderstone
Silver: Get Aerodactyl
You only have 1 chance to get Aerodactyl: you need to get a Chansey, which is found on Routes 14, 15 and 16, and trade with a girl in the big patch of grass on Route 14. You will recieve Aerodactyl.
A few hints
To get eggs from the daycare centre without hving to hunt down same type opposite genders. Just find a Ditto and leave it in the daycare centre with any pokemon male or female and they will have an egg after a quick round at indigo platau.
(this definitly works with female pokemon and I am sure it works with males) (I think it works with lugia and Ho-oh too)
to find the 3 dogs easily all you need do is search everywhere until you encounter one if it gets away its position will appear in your pokedex under area. when you manage to get there use attract and it will be easier to find.
(it frequently moves so keep checking your pokedex)
Silver: Getting past the switches
When team rocket has taken over radio tower and you have to get past the switches, switch them all off. Then switch number 3 on then 2 on then 1 on and it should leave a path for you to get through.
Rainbow/Silver Wing
After defeating Team Rocket's attack on the radio station (deppending on wether your game is gold or silver) the manager will give you a rainbow/silver wing but where is the other one you ask? Well in the province of Kanto, Pewter City an old man standing next to the Mart will be there talk to him he will ramble on for a few seconds and eventually give you the other rainbow/silver wing.
Celebi
My Celebi is now at level 74. This is truly how you get it. What you do is defeat the Elite Four. Then trade an Ivysaur (MUST be an Ivysaur) that knows Cut from your Red/Blue game. Go to the shrine in Ilex Forest. Use Cut on the shrine. Then put Lugia at the front of your party ( it doesn't matter what level it is). Use Lugia's Fly to Fly to Mahogany Town. When you have done that, go to the Karate King in Mt. Mortar. Beat him and get Tyrogue. Evolve it into a Hitmontop. Breed Hitmontop with a Ditto and the result will be Tyrogue. Take this one to the shrine (with Lugia at the front remember) and use Cut again. Celebi comes floating out. It is at level 10 when you catch it and it isn't particularly difficult to catch.
Double Team
Make sure you know the copy trick. Copy your strongest pokémon in more numbers, if few pokemon get faint, hold the pokemon that goes op a level or experience, to easily defeat each gym trainer, next delete your copies and continue your journey until you face another gym, retry the method again. You can also use the trick fighting your rival, or other type of trainers.
Easy rare dogs
The easy way to get Raikou, Entei, and Suicune is to capture or raise a pokemon to learn the move "meanlook" hunt down which ever rare dog you want, have the pokemon that knows "meanlook" in the front of the party. When you find the rare dog of your choice you need to use "meanlook" so then it can't flee. Bring lots of ultra balls or simply a master ball.
Surfing Pikachu
There is a way to get the surfing Pikachu, find a smergle and use surf then it should use scktch and it will turn into surf, catch it. Then catch a pikachu,bring them both to the day care center come back to get a egg, it hatches into a Pichu that knows surf!! Note:Smeargle shoud be male and Pikachu shoud be female.
Wild Suicune
At night go to route 31. In the building seperating Violet city and Route 31, go right. Once your out of the building, go to the grass patch just below the building. If you keep walking around, you should find a Suicune!

Explanation: Say you wanted bulbasaur, you would turn on the game boy colour and the cheat cartridge, wait till the screen loads, then press 'select' and use the buttons to type in 0100EDD0, but instead of 00 in the middle put what is shown by the word bulbasaur (01) so put 0101EDD0, then press 'start', while the cheat cartridge is still on, the only pokemon you will battle will be -in this instance- bulbasaur, to stop this, turn off the cheat cartridge.

Faster Olivine Boat Ride
In Olivine City, it normally takes quite awhile when your ride the boat. To speed things up, when you get in the boat, go to your cabin. Then, go over to the bed and heal your Pokemon. When you are done, the boat will be in Vermilion City.
Aerodactal
There is only one Aerodactyl in the game, but it is not that difficult to get. Catch a Chansey and trade with the girl on Route 14 to get it.
Chansey
The best time to catch Chanseys at night on Routes 13, 14, and 15.
Radio Tower Quiz
At the Radio Tower in Goldenrod City, one of the the people at the front desk will ask you if you want to take a quiz to win a Radio Card.
The Radio Card allows you to use your PokeGear as a radio.

Ever heard of Tyranitar? Well hear is how to get it.
1) Go to Mt.Silver
2) Go inside and catch a larvitar.
3) Evolve Larvitar into Pupitar.
4) Evolve Pupitar into Tyranitar.
5) Have fun with your new Pokemon!
Lapras
To get Lapras, i think it was the cave in Azelia Town, you go in and surf through all the ladders, when you get to the end of the cave, There will be a Lapras swimming around.There is only one so save your game(Note: If it is not this cave, try going to the one south of Violet City.
Elekid
To get Elekid, Breed a male Electabuz and a female one.
Dunspacre
To get Dunsparce, just go to dark cave at night and Dunspacre to appear.
Free Game Coins
To get free game coins, go to Celadon city, and go into the casino, walk around the asiles, pressing A+B at a same time and you will find about 240 game coins.
Secret Gift
In Goldenrod city, on the left side you see water, go north of the town and surf to the left, go all the way down and you will see 3 girls. After you defeat the third one, she will give you a mystery gift.
99 Master balls
To get 99 master balls,the first time you go onto the ss aqua in olivine city,check all the trash cans,and in one of them you will find 99 master balls.
Celibi
Many say that it is imposible to get celibi but i figured out this good cheat. First you must get a male Abra and a Ditto. Get them both at levle 30+ and let them both hold an everstone. Then take them to the breading ground. They will have an egg and it should be a Celibi if the code is done right. If you take them to the daycare center to get them to 30+ the code will not work, they should have had and egg by them, but if they haevent then try this code but it may not work.
Silver Hoot Hoot
To get a silver hoot hoot you it must be at 8:57 pm or this cheat will not work. At that time fly to cinnabar Island and go fight the gym leader but when you hit a he will dissapear and you will be taken to a room with him traning a silver hoot hoot, then he will tell you to catch it.

It takes 5 pokeballs to capture a legendary bird.

This is just a very useful hint. No matter what any one says, there is not way to get celibi or mew without a gameshark or gameboy promotion.
Strong Pichu

then go to the box and it should be doubled.
Golden Ekans:
Go down to Violet City, just to the south there's a passing into the cave, in that grass I found a golden Ekans and when I evolved it it was a golden Arbok.
Gold Magikarp:
Breed a Gold Gyarados with a regular Gyarados. Get an egg it will be a Gold Magikarp.
Gold Gyarados:
Do you know where the fourth gym is? Surf right where the Heracross are keep surfing untill you find it.
Colored Pokemons:
(Look for three stars to determine whether you've caught a colored Pokemon.)

ends, and turn it back on. You should have that exact same pokemon in your party and in the box.
Pokeball trick:
First go to item pack (this works with poke&great balls) press up and A. Your pokeball will become a greatball!
Duplicate items:
You can duplicate items like masterballs and rare candies by making one pokemon hold that item and then you duplicate it in your p.c.
by duplicating in the p.c. you put the pokemon in one box then you change box and when it says "saving dont turn" you turn it off well you dont
have to do that but just dont turn it off when it says power
To catch a Pokemon:
Get a gastly/haunter/gengar then get a scyther/scizzorbattle any pokemon use gastly's mean look then use his hypnotism. Then get scyther and use his
false wipe until the wild Pokemon has only 1 hp. Then throw a pokeball and you got it see the false swipe never kills the Pokemon it leaves only at 1hp
Get an egg:
Get a pokémon girl and a boy that is the same one. Then go to Golden Road City and there is a house where a
man and a womans keeps your Pokémon in the garden for them to be more powerfull. You give the boy to the man and the
girl to the woman. Later you go get your Pokémons and they give you an egg.
Duplicate pokemon:
Want to get another pokemon such as Togepi from the same game, its easy simply take your rare pokemon to the daycare centre give it to
one of the people and give a Ditto to the other, this will make an egg containing your desired pokemon
Clear a path through the grass:
First you must have a pokemon that knows the move, cut. Once you have it, go to the edge of the grassy area that you want to cut. All you have to do is
have the pokemon use cut there. You will see that your pokemon has cut a section out of the grass for you. Do this as many times as you want. It's that simple!
Catch Pokemon easier:
To catch pokemon easier when you've thrown use the A button by pressing it or the arrow buttons following the movement of the Pokeball.
Colored Pokemon:
Did you know that any Pokemon in the wild can be colored? I've seen a purple Nidoran Female.
Duplicate a Pokemon:
To duplicate pokemon by trading between any 2 pokemon games you get a good pokemon that you wanna duplicate on one of the game boys and a crappy pokemon on the other.
Go to the trading center, and let the person with the pokemon to be duplicated talk to the lady first. Do the trade and when EACH GameBoy says waiting, turn off the GameBoy
that had the good pokemon. Then wait a few seconds until the other GameBoy says "trade completed" then you shut that one off. If "trade completed" doesnt show up then you did it wrong.
Catch ledgendary birds easy:
Make sure you have a pokemon that can put others to sleep then put it to sleep and throw a poke ball and you will catch it easy.
How to get baby forms of some Pokemon:
First get a regular ditto then get one of the following Pokemon:
Pikachu
Jinx
Electabuzz
Jigilipuff
Cleafery
Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, or Hitmontop
Magmar
then get the ditto and one of the pokemon at the top and put them in the daycare and you"ll get an egg then hatch it and theres your baby form. The following are their names:

Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, or Hitmontop=tyroug

Catch pokemon easily:
This trick allows you to fight and catch pokemon easily with any kind of pokeball:
1. Get in to a fight with any pokemon.
2. Use a ball on them.any kind of ball will work.if you have a dificulty using normal pokeballs,try more powerful ones to increase your chances even more.
3. As soon as you see the ball explode press and hold the B button .the timing for this is very important.you must press B just as the pokeball explodes,which can be difficult.
4. After the ball wobbles for the second time,release the B button and you have them.
Note: this trick will not work every time, but it will increase your chances of catching them. It is not necessary to do any damage to them, but some pokemon, like
mewtwo and zapdos will have to be put to sleep before the ball will hit them.
Tyrogue:
To get Tyrogue, breed an egg with Hitmonchan, Hitmontop, or Hitmonlee with a Ditto at the daycare center.
Or you can go beat Blackbelt Kyo in Mt. Mortar to get one at L:10. Once Tyrogue is at L:20...
He will evolve into a Hitmontop if his Attack and Defense are the same.
He will evolve into a Hitmonchan if his Defense is higher than its Attack.
He will evolve into a Hitmonlee if his Attack is higher than its Defense.
Male and Female Pokemon:
You know how some Pokemon are male and some are female? Well, it seems that female Pokemon
have stats that are more even. Male Pokemon don't have stats as even as females.
Easy High-Level Pokemon:
If you want to get a Pokemon to a certain level without fighting other Pokemon, you can just copy Rare Cnady and give it to the Pokemon you want to raise.
Make sure you never run completely out of Rare Candy. You always need at least one to copy it again. (WARNING: Rare Candied Pokemon are much weaker
than regularly raised Pokemon)
Fishing:
If you go up to a statue in one of the gyms and use a fishing rod you should be able to catch a pokemon.
Easy level 100 Mewtwo:
When you catch Mewtwo in the unknown dungeon, battle the elite four with Mewtwo as your first pokemon and every time you beat them your Mewtwo will grow 1 or 2 levels higher.
Fighting tip:
To have a better chance, use false swipe. It leaves the opponent with only 1HP left then put it to sleep and start throwing ultra balls at it!
Lugia and Ho-Oh:
To get an Ho-Oh in Pokémon silver and a Lugia in Pokémon gold you go to the village wher is the Badge Rock! In this village ther is an old man, and he says to you
that when he was young he came from Johto and he will give you an item to get Ho-Oh in silver and Lugia in gold.
Multiple Pokemon:
In order to breed any pokemon you have, just breed the pokemon with a ditto. Since ditto will breed anything it's easy to get a level five version of any of your pokemon.
Try this with evee or any of his evolutions.
Golden Gyarados:
The golden gyarados is on the left side of the island that you can find Herecross so try not to spend all of your time on the right.
Green Zubat:
In the grass beteen rockmoon cave and Cerulean theres a Green Zubat instead of a blue.
Glitch:
First go to the safari zone and say yes to the question. After you go in come right back out. He'll ask you if you're leaving early. Say no. Go back in and save.
Reset the gameboy and leave. He'll ask you if you want to join the hunt. Say no and leave. Then go to Cinnabar Island and surf on the east coast. Keep on
surfing until the bell rings. You'll be back in the house. He'll say "did you get a good haul". Then just leave the house and you'll be in Glitch City...
Catch Poke'mon Easily:
When you find the poke'mon, throw a poke'ball. Right before the poke'mon go's in the poke'ball press B and it would be caught.
Unlimited master balls:
On the first time on S.S.Awqwa search every bin on the ship and you get 99 master balls that will never go when you catch a pokemon. This will only work on the first time.
Easy way to win the radio contest:
1. Save in front of the guy next to the computer in the RADIO TOWER and save the game.
2. Shut off and turn back on the game.
3. At the title screen push these buttons (B+Select+Down).
4. Answer Yes.
5. Type in your trainer number as the password (If it dosen't work try some different web sites and and they will give you the password).
6. The game should restart hit continue the game should ask you to set the correct time set it on Thursday 11:59.
7. Hit yes and talk to the guy in front of you he will check and see if you have won if you don't wait for one minute if you don't win just
restart your game (as long as you have not saved your time is still not set so just set your time and try again.
Golden Pokemon:
You know about the Golden Gyaradose?? Well there are more golden Pokemon! So far I've spotted A golden ZooBat in Ilex Forest and a Gold Ekens south of Vilot City.
Instant egg:
Put a couple Pokemon at the nursery, and then get on the SS Aqua. Then get back to the nursery. The couple has produced an egg.
Get a Tyrogue:
Go to the town where the fourth gym leader (the one with the trick floor and ghost pokemon) is located at. Go to the east of town. Go through the little building and
go to the waters edge, then surf east. You will come upon a land mass with a cave in the mountain, enter it. Upon entry of the cave, surf right then use TM 7 to surf
up the waterfall. Go to the very back of the cave where you'll find a cave entrance, enter it. Inside the cavern, you have to surf around to get past the ledges.
Make your way to the upper left-hand corner of the cavern until you find a ladder, use it. In the next room, follow the ridge until it splits left and right.
Go left and continue east, then south when you can't go east anymore. You will find a ladder there, use it. Go right and you will find a man who looks like a
karate trainer. Talk to him and he will challenge you to a duel. He uses a level 34 hitmonlee and a level 34 hitmonchan. Once you beat him, he will
give you a level 10 pokemon called Tyrogue.
Shiny Tangela:
When I was wailking around mount silver i saw a Shiny Tangela at night.
Get unlimited masterball:
When the first time boarding the SS Aqua, check all the dustbins in it. It will say "Nothing in here". When you get to Kanto, check your inventory for unlimited masterball.
Get Pichu:
Go to daycare center, and put Ditto and Pikachu together. Walk around a while, and you will get an Egg. Thats Pichu!
For unlimited masterballs, or any other item:
You must first know the pokemon cloning cheat. Second, select the item you want and make a pokemon hold it. Then put it in Bill's pokemon storage system and clone it as
many times as desired. When you get done, all the clones will still be holding the item. Just take their item and keep cloning for more.
Silver stantler:
Go to the place were Stantler is located and find him.
Gold Marill:
I saw a Gold Marill at night in the Dark Cave.
How to get a custom Pokéball of Kurt:
If you get een apricorn for exemple green apricorn. At the end of your game go to Kurt and give him an apricorn. Save the game and next day go outside and
get back inside and Kurt will give you a custom pokeball.
Use Your Pokédex to Lure or Repel Pokémon:
To use your Pokédex to lure or repel Pokémon just set it to a radio station when you're in an area with wild Pokémon.
Experiment to find which station(s) work best to attract and which work best to repel.
Catch Lapras:
1. You need to change the day to Friday to do that go to a PC at a Pokemon center login into "Bill's PC" pick "change box" then pick an empty box. When the Game boy
says "saving...don't turn off the power" turn off the Game boy before it says "saved thegame". Turn on your Game boy it will say "no time set" then turn it to friday.
2. After that go to the cave under Violet city (the one that go's to Azalea town) surf thepond under the boy that's standing next to a ladder.
At the bottom of pond there will be a ladder climb it then surf right until the end there will be another latter climb it. Surf down until you three
choices: left, right and down, surf left, then walk down, battle a girl, after you win keep going down then surf right, you will be able to see Lapras.
How to get Entei Suicune and Raikou easyer:
Look at the nest with the Pokedex. Instead of flying, walk over there. Suicune is easyer to get because it only takes about 3-6 battles before he appears.
Raikou and Entei are harder because they usually change area (not always).
Ultra balls:
Ultra balls work very badly, pokeballs and great balls work 75% better. With a pokéball I caught a level 40 Remoraid in 1 shot. With a ultra ball it never cathes anything with 1 shot.
Gold Gyarados:
Get a Gold Magikarp (by putting the Red Gyarados with a normal Gyarados) and train it to level 20. It will turn in to a Gold Gyarados.
Shiny Purple Mareep:
To get a Shiny Purple Mareep in Pokemon Gold you have to go outside of Mahogany Town by the cave in the grass and then keep looking around in there and then you'll find it after awhile.
Catch Pokemon easier:
When you throw the Pokeball, press B rapidly until the second time the ball wobbles. This cheat does not work all the time but works 80% to 90% of the time.
Get all the Pokemon Element Stones:
When Bills dad (in Cerulean City) asks you to show him a Pokemon you do it. The order goes:
1. Lickitung (Everstone)
2.Vulpix (Fire Stone)
3.Oddish (Leaf Stone)
4.Staryu (Water Stone)
5.Pichu (Thunderstone)
(I think you should duplicate each Stone with an Eevee which needs at least six to have one of its evolution) If you have Pokemon Stadium 2 look up which Pokemon needs which Stone.
Purple Slowpoke:
Have a Pokemon that knows surf and water fall use that in the Tojoh falls and on the last waterfall a Purple Female Slowpoke will appear.
Tip:
Before you you through any extended trips of long grass, be sure to save your game!
To free them from their prison in ecruteak city:
All you need to do is walk up to the three statues on the bottom floor and they will instantly wake up and scatter to different locations.
Red garados:
To do this cheat get four gym badges and go to lake of rage at top of mahoaty town surf in the lake and you find a garados picture press A
on it and it apears use great ball or ultra ball to catch.
Special Pokemon baby:
Have you dreamed of begining with a sneasel or a phanpy?
For this you need two game boys:
1. Begin a new game and choose one of the basic pokemon and catch another pokemon you want to use in the game.
2. At the other game get a egg from the pokemon you want
3. Trade you basic pokemon for the egg (be sure to have at least one more pokemon becuse you cant have "just one egg")
4. Wait for it to hatch and you´ll have a brand new pokemon at level 5 to train (please also note that this pokemon was in an egg and dosent
know who its original trainer is untill it hatches).
PLEASE NOTE: all pokemon (like lugia and ho-hu) cant breed.

As soon as they call you talking about their respective Pokémon, that Pokémon will become much easier to find in the wild.
Descriptions of Each Poké Ball:
Poké Ball:
The most basic kind of Poké Ball, it has no special features and is only good during the early stages of the game.
Great Ball:
This Poké Ball is pretty much the same as the basic one except that this one has a much higher chance of catching a Pokémon. It also costs three times as much.
Ultra Ball:
The best of the buyable Poké Balls, this one catches most Pokémon quite easily, although this one costs six times as much as a basic Poké Ball.
Master Ball:
This ball is the ultimate ball and never fails to catch a wild Pokémon of even the highest level and hp. Unfortunately you can't buy this type of ball.
Fast Ball (Made From a White Apricorn):
This kind of special ball will be much more effective against those Pokémon that normally are to fast to catch and escape before you have a chance.
Lure Ball (Made From a Blue Apricorn):
This special ball is more effective against those slippery water Pokémon than the basic Poké Ball.
Level Ball (Made From a Red Apricorn):
The lower the wild Pokémon's level compared to your Pokémon's the higher the likelyhood you'll catch the wild Pokémon.
Heavy Ball (Made From a Black Apricorn):
This ball's specialty is catching those big bulky critters like Snorlax and Onix.
Love Ball (Made From a Pink Apriorn):
If the wild Pokémon you're trying to catch's gender is opposite of the Pokémon you're using your chances of catching it will be higher.
Friend Ball (Mde from a Green Apricorn):
Use this on a Pokémon you want to like you, if you successfully snare a Pokémon with this ball it will automatically become your friend.
Moon Ball (Made from a Yellow Apricorn):
This will make it easier to catch Pokémon that evolve with the Moon Stone, like Jigglypuff or Clefairy.
Eggs:
Go to the daycare center south of Goldenrod city. When you are at the daycare center, can put any two Pokemon in there that you want to grow levels,
but it costs 100 credits plus 100 more for each level it grows. One good thing about this daycare center is that if you put a male and female Pokemon of the
same species, eventually you will get an egg. The egg will be the Pokemon of the lowest evolution. For example, a Raichu female and a Raichu male will get you
a Pichu, (random gender), at L:5, since it is the lowest of the evolution chain. (Note: All hatched Pokemon are at L:5.) You can also put any Pokemon in the daycare
with a Ditto and get a Pokemon of the lowest evolution of the Pokemon other than Ditto. These Pokemon cannot produce eggs:
1. Unown

3. Togepi
4. Cleffa
5. Tyrogue
6. Smoochum
7. Elekid
8. Magby

If you want to find out yourself, or if you deny anything above and thing they will/won't instead of what is said above, you can check
the message of the Pokemon. These messages show an egg is on the way:
1. It shows interest in the other Pokemon.
2. It appears to care for other Pokemon.
3. It's friendly with the other Pokemon.
These messages show an egg isn't coming:
1. It's brimming with energy.
2. It has no interest in the other Pokemon.
Once you do have an egg, keep it in your party. Check the message once in a while. Once the egg hatches, it will stop you in your tracks and the
message box will say, "Huh?". Then it shows the Pokemon hatch. These are Pokemon called pre-evolutions:
1. Pichu from Raichu or Pikachu.
2. Smoochum from Jynx.
3. Igglybuff from Jigglypuff or Wigglytuff.
4. Cleffa from Clefairy or Clefable.
5. Elekid from Electabuzz.
6. Magby from Magmar.
7. Tyrogue from Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, or Hitmonlee.
