I. BACKGROUND:

So, what is Dancing Blade Katteni Momotenshi II? (btw, Kanzenban means
"complete"). It continues on the story from the first Dancing Blade Katteni
Momotenshi, where Momohime transformed into Momotenshi for the first time.
It's effectively an interactive action-comedy anime that lasts for about 30
minutes, and looks -much- nicer than anything else like it that's out there
(of course, this may only hold true until about February, when Sakura Taisen
for the DreamCast comes out... =P). Anyways, it's a great deal of fun, and I
highly recommend getting it.

Anyways, on to the FAQ! =)

II. MAIN MENU OPTIONS:

Note: The title screen will change according to which ending you last got.
Unlike the first game, there doesn't seem to be a special title screen if you
manage to get all the endings.

a) Start (hajimekara)

Obviously, start a new game.
b) Continue (tsuzukikara)

Continue a game. Note that you can only have one saved game.
c) Movie appreciation (movie kanshou)

Check out movies and movie sequences. Go to the "MOVIE MODE SELECT MENU"
section for further details.
d) Extras (omake)

See some pretty interesting (and pretty weird) stuff. Go to the "OMAKE
MODE SELECT MENU" section for more detail.

III. IN-GAME MENU:

To access the in-game menu, press the Start button while in the middle of a
"scene". Note that you -have- to do it in the middle of a scene; it won't work
when you're at a decision point.

[...]

First, it'll ask you whether you'd like to save or not.

a) Yes (Hai)

b) No (Iie)

Then, you get to pick whether to keep on playing.

a) Resume game (game wo saikai)

b) Quit (shuuryou)

IV. MOVIE MODE SELECT MENU:

There are two choices here you can pick from.

a) Relive favourite scenes (suki-na scene wo saisei)

Pick and choose which scene you'd like to view. Go to the "SCENE SELECT
MENU" section to see which scene is which.
b) Director's cut

Find out what the game makers considered their "ideal" paths for each
ending. Go to the "DIRECTOR'S CUT MENU" section for more information.

VI. DIRECTOR'S CUT MENU:

As is fairly obvious, here you can see what the programmers considered "ideal"
routes to go through the game. From left to right is:

VII. OMAKE MODE SELECT MENU:

Here, you can check out various interesting extras.

VIII. ARASUJI SELECT MENU:

IX. PLOT BRANCHING:

For simplicity's sake, I'll just use the movie numbers (listed above). I hope
that you can follow this - it's going to be a little messy and a little
complicated.

To explain how this works:

04 -> 05 -> 07
-> 06

This little snippet above means that at the end of scene 04 there are two
choices given. The first choice takes you to scene 05, the second to scene 06.
Both reconverge to scene 07.

Note that "->" means you get a choice in which scene you next get. "=>" means
that you do NOT get a choice - this is dependent upon previous choices.

I figure everything should make sense from this point onwards.

Note, though, that the second game gets much more complicated than the first
one in terms of branching, mainly because of a couple of loops that can take
place, and a couple of dependencies.

01 -> 02 -> 03 -> 04 -> 05
-> 61 (jump down to the Oinu/Kijime/Otsuhime path)

05 -> 06 -> 09 -> 10 -> 12 -> 13 -> 15 -> 16 -> 18
-> 07 -> 11 -> 14 -> 17
-> 08

scene 10, then you get scene 30. otherwise, if you got scene 11, you get
scene 31.>

18 -> 19 -> 26 -> 27 -> 29 => 30 -> 32
-> 20 -> 28 => 31
-> 21
-> 22 -> 23
-> 24 -> 23
-> 25

32 -> 33 -> 34 -> 36 -> 37 -> 39 -> 40 -> 42
-> 35 -> 38 -> 41

42 -> 43 -> -> 43 <43 and 44 lead to another selection of 43,44,45 in a loop>
-> 44 -> 44
-> 45 <45 only appears once you've picked either 43 or 44>

45 -> 46
-> 47 -> -> 46 <47 and 48 lead to another selection of 46,47,48 in a loop>
-> 48 -> 47
-> 48

<51 starts automatically if you've gone through the 2nd path and favoured
Oinu. 52 starts automatically if you've gone through the 2nd path and
favoured Kijime>

46 -> 49
-> 50 -> -> 49
-> 50 <50 leads to another selection of 49 and 50 in a loop>
=> 51
=> 52

<54 and 55 appear if you've seen 51 and 52 respectively. 57,58,59,60 are the
endings, with 59 and 60 automatically playing (I believe) if you've seen
51/54 or 52/55 respectively.>

Momohime's ending>

49 -> 53 -> 56 => 57
51 => 54 => 58 -> 85
52 => 55 => 59 -> 85
=> 60 -> 85

61 -> 62 -> 64 -> 65 -> 68 -> 69 -> 72
-> 63 -> 66 -> 70
-> 67 -> 65 -> 71
-> 66

allows you to get the other two endings.>

<81,82,83 are Otsuhime's, Oinu's, and Kijime's endings respectively. All then
proceed to scene 85, the ending credits>

72 -> 73 -> 76 -> 77 -> 79 => 81 -> 85
-> 74 -> 78 => 82 -> 85
-> 75 -> 73 => 83 -> 85
-> 74
-> 80 -> 84 -> 05 change to boot. this opens up 51/54 and 52/55>

X. CREDITS AND THANKS:

I'd like to thank my roommate Wayland for use of his DreamCast and games (it's
his, actually.... ^_^;;). Also, KCET for making a really fun game! I hope that
they follow this up with a third!
